MSCEIT stands for Mayer, Salovey, Caruso, Emotional Intelligence Test. It was developed by psychologists Dr. Jack Mayer, Dr. Peter Salovey and Dr. David Caruso, based on Mayers and Saloveys abilities model definition of Emotional Intelligence.
The MSCEIT self-report features a four-branch model of Emotional Intelligence:
